Sat 18.07.10 New beginnings; Long Ying & Lion Dance

Well following on from 2 days of mad fun. I wake up at my boys yard tired but yes its sunday n that's rest day. Well in terms of me working out.

Sylvester is a member of the Long Ying group, martial art style and he has been since a young age. I've study many different forms of martial arts myself from a young age and in the past seeing some of sly moves its very similar.

Sly group is quite well known and they perform Lion Dances performances.

Today Long Ying were performing for a new restaurant opening in china town. The New Four Seasons. This restaurant being the second Four Seasons opening in chinatown.
As never performing Lion Dance before but sly seemed to be in need of help I came down to help him. First we meet at his masters house after few Long Ying members came to sly house in the morning to get lift there too.

His Masters is very nice and so up to date on technology it was kinda funny watching him work magic with the iPad.

The Master said can you use a camera and I was like yep it was part of my uni course so yea I'm pretty good. Then he says here you go you can be are photographer. Haha I jumped at the opportunity as I've always enjoyed photography.

So after getting all the gear together and most of the Long Ying members that were performing today arrived. We headed down to chinatown. Performance starting around 1ish.

What a day it was. The performance was fantastic and I have say never knew Sylvester was that good. It was a great experiencing n being camera man running around taking lots of great photos was super. The photos came out really well and I'm gonna post some of them up on my site n link it from facebook too so stay tuned.

After the performance went inside the restaurant and replenish are bodies with free food =P which was nice. Four Season has great tasting food so definitely should check it out if you get the chance while your in chinatown ^^

After that head back to long Ying Masters house. Was good day but it doesn't end there. To be continued.

Fat Burning, Mid and Lower Body Workout

INFORMATION

Tabata HIITs Style - When doing this style of training follow the exercises highlighted in Yellow for each section and if there isn't section with Yellow Highlighted, revert back to 'Standard Style' Training (This should only happen for back exercise section). Sections highlighted in Blue aren't supposed to be performed if your doing Yellow Impact sections for your HIITs workout day.

The Yellow sections are impact sections which represent total of intervals of each exercise to be done before and after each rest interval. For example if one highlighted Yellow impact section has 4 rows highlighted with sets of 2 'Intervals Sets' on each row then each Interval set is multiplied by rows so in this case 4 x 2 = 8. Eight Intervals. So on your Gymboss Interval Timer you will have 8 Intervals set. This may not seem so long in time but remember the point of HIITs training is high intense workout so your suppose to be throwing everything you got into each workout interval and then resting for before the next full interval starts. Never take this training lightly.

HIITs should only be done twice to three times a week once you have completed the Starters/Beginners After finishing Yellow Section you can have one minute break have some water before you gear up for the next impact sections. HIITs Workout so your body has grown accustom to this style of intense workouts.

Standard Style - During Standard workouts no breakers longer then 10 - 20 secs and 30 secs - 1min between Sections which you can see have been divided by grey spaces.

Note: Please remember to have water with you and not to over drink when you need to drink just small short snips.

Sat 17.7.10 Crazy day continues

So I left off we've hitting home n getting 2 hours sleep before my workout. Let me tell you that workout was so hard but it felt great. Note to everyone you shldnt usually workout or ever workout under these conditions but its a one off me specially as sunday is my usual rest day.

Get ready for work after workout and as I'm heading to work I'm just completely buzzed and lit up for work. Haha weird I knw I should be tired but after a good work n a breather I'm even more energetic. Lol

Work was mad busy n and when I stopped to check the time its already 5pm. Dam time goes but have say last customer of the day was the best.

Customer comes in stating she's due for upgrade to my colleague and she wants the htc desire but which is better: Desire, Sony Ericsson x10 or the samsung galaxy s. My colleague is lost for word. Trying find the right way to explain but ends up saying errr . . Its hard to say. . Erm or long. Lol. So I shoot over saying it has to be the Galaxy S.

Customer ask 'why the galaxy?'. I reply back with

'Don't get me wrong the other 2 handsets are great to but'

Then I outline what's great about the galaxy compared to the others to customer and demo her the handset. Showing her one sexy feature; Live Wallpapers. The wallpaper selected was a light pond effect and when you touch the screen the water ripples where you touch it. Even when you blow on the screen too. She was like wow and straight away goes I want it. Call T-Mobile and let's do this.

At this point my colleague questioning me about the specs of the handset and how best to do the deal for the customer. I'm like mate, I'm amazing, don't worry let's get this sorted. Customer was like your amazing yeah? Oh yes I reply.

Let me note the customer being female, Italian and extremely HOT lol

All day I've been on fire specially with T-Mobile contracts. After few phone calls via myself and the customer. Deal sorted. Great tariff all the features, line rental discount n free handset. SMACKED IT! Customer happy leaving the store with great handset smiling n pointing back at me saying 'You are amazing, Terry Masters your the man'. Haha what a wicked way end the day with amazing ego boost like that as if my head wasn't big enough as it is lol.

NOTE - I will be posting a blog on specs and comparisons of the top three mention android phones and the dell streak and iPoo aka iPhone4 so check them out if your looking for great smartphone.

Nah I'm quite humble really but if there is something really good to toot about I will =P

After great but crazy day at work head home to work out have some dinner n decide whether to go out on saturday night or stay home. Haha what you think happen readers? Had few drinks at home then I popped out.

No train service in my area. Grr so hard to get the bus half way to central. >_<

Running late. Friend Sean's birthday who I mention in last blog.

Reach china town and meet up with Sylvester and say happy birthday to Sean. After which sylvester says got car meet/race go too and I say our friends from last night wanna do a round 2 on late night BBQ and at this time its around midnight. Lol.

Drive down to friends. Have few drinks, crack bare jokes. Eating some yummy BBQ - note low to no carbs depending on what your eating at BBQ ^^ heh. There was even a birthday cake for Chris the birthday boy who never shuts up but great guy. Haha

End up at sly aka Sylvester's house and crash at 5am again lol.

Fri 16.07.10 always having a crazy day

Normal daily routine. Get up and workout for 10-30mins at 7:00am then shower and get ready for work. Oh wait today is my day off. Heh

So i decide to play some Call of Duty 4 and yes my man kenshino and Az are online playing, but they playing Gears of War 1, well why not everyone knows BakaOwnage owns this game, After some owning madness swith games and actually play Call of Duty for a bit. Afterward time take a break get some water and do some sketchs for a good friend ^^ yep yep im artist and you can check my stuff out off my facebook page or off my website soon as its still under construction.

Anyway moving on . . . my good friend Sylvester bb messages me asking me to call him. I tried calling him once I had notice the message but no answer. Too cut the story short i get through to him and find out my boy got his Evo 5, Yes thats right Mitsubishi Evolution Lance 5, Sexy beast of a car.

He invites me to come check it out, sure why not, but only if he comes to pick me up from my house as i was about to start my evening workout by this point.

Hour a bit later as im finishing my workout he knocks on the door to drive me back down to his check out his new babie.

Once down my friends area checking out his car god i swear i was in love lol.

Checking out the car and are mate Sean calling and yes yes he wants to see the car too lol and he only lives around the corner so pick him up and bring him back to Sylvester house to see the car again lol during all this i was bb messaging a friend and were invited to small late night birthday gathering. Do i hear drinks? Yes yes im on it! LOL

The whole night and mid morning madness ending with drunken Call of Duty and bomberman, haha too much fun just had to blog all about it all.

Get home at 5am and now its time to get 2hours sleep before i have get up at 7 for morning workout, LOL

Working-Out tips for toning and losing body fat: Info Booster 1

The most key factors to remember about working out to lose body fat and tone the muscles is;

- warming up and stretching properly before exercising (specially for long intense workouts)
- workout environment and motivational music and thoughts
-cooling down.
- a well balanced or intense (dangerous) diet

Also remember that what works for others may not work for you, everybody's is different, performs differently.

Okay so lets start off with warming up and stretching:

- Warming up & Stretching -

Never forget to warm up your muscles by stretching before starting your toning routines. Ideally, warm up exercises should last 5 – 8 minutes. Remember to target the muscle groups that will be toned. Warm up exercises are beneficial because they help the body in increasing blood circulation and provide more nutrients to the muscles that will be exercised. So focus on the body parts you tend to tone more during your warm up and stretching but not to neglect the rest of your body.

Stretching should start from the head and work down to the toes. Some ppl prefer to only stretch the parts that going to be worked out but your body is one whole machine and again to neglect other parts that are linked can cause stiffness and and uncomfortable training which will only lead to poor health. No point in looking good on the outside if your dead on the inside.

- Workout Environment, Motivational Music and Mental state

Everyone knows or should know the importance of a good workout environment. A lot of people prefer going to the gym and others feel uncomfortable going to the gym. For myself i don't mind going to the gym but find home workouts more effective specially if you got all the equpiment you need. If anyone wants to know the best basic stuff to have at home for a good work out which doesnt even cost that much just let me know and il post items up.

When focusing on body toning and weight lost there are so many execerises and techniques that can be done at home or outside the gym. The main benefits from the gym would be, its easier find training partner, suana, swimming pool and the theory of the crowd mentally - following the crowd, seeing others train hard tends make you train hard too - The gym isnt a bad place but its not essential and plus if you save money and money the workout items you need then you'll save money having your own items you can use as much as you want and not having pay subscription fee. Never feel that you have to join the gym to workout and keep fit as many people fool themselfs into believing or use as excuse not to workout in the mornings or in the evening or whenever your able too. Just becuase you cant make it to the gym or go gym doesnt mean you cant workout and keep fit.

Motivational music is a big help becuase music stimulates the mind and keeps you active by making your body to want to move. Finding songs and creating a playlist will really help. When your in a good mind set and your doing a cardio workout and you hear that song that sturs you on you'll increase your rate and keep it constant. If that constant stays for the duration of the song, you've potental lost more weigh becuase of it. Mental state is important, theres so many different types of mental states that can help with a good workout, for me i personally use negative reinforcement. No no i don't hate my body and think why cant i be better i have to train harder. Don't get me wrong for some people that actually works for them but for most people it dont specially if you have low self of stim.
My negative reforcement focuses on memories that hurt me and make me feel bad to my core and i use this fuel me to run. You can't run from this type of pain but yet it makes you wanna run and with no where to go you'll just keep going till you burn out. For me thats when i can't go no more. However i set myself a timer which knocks me out of that state. The psychology behind mental state that helps motivate you is so improtant becuase really its that state of being that actually makes you workout. So this topic im going to branch alot onto but keeping in mind its alot to handle and sometimes just keeping it simple for most is best. But if you always fall out of working out and you wish you can focus better and workout then let me know and il be more then happy enough to find a good mental state for working out for yourself. No one knows yourself as good as you do but ive actually followed studies and done few classes in the past. Also being very observant i can recommand a few things but it will invovle me asking quite few personal questions. There actually questionnarie which il try find again that if you answer the qestions based on it, it will describe what kind of mental states is good for you to stay driven and focus.

Motivation and mental state is the most improtant part of workout to me. You can know everything you need to do but doing it specially if it comes repetitive will make you lose focus. soon as that happens you stop training properly or workout less and then stop. So please everyone take this section seriously

- Cooling Down -

End of workout with cool down exercises. This should last between 5–10 minutes. This is enough time to lower the heart rate. Cooling down reduces the risk of injury and muscle soreness caused by intense work out. Cool down exercises should include 5 minute cardio exercises (etc, walking and stationary biking) and 5 minute focused, slow stretching.

***I tend to do a few breathing and stretching techniques (Qi Gong - if ppl are interested in knowing more about or learning some Qi Gong exercises just let me know) which is really good and powerful, helps with inner body stretching***

- a well balanced or intense (dangerous) diet
There are so many different diets out there but the truth of the matter is if you workout alot then treating yourself to little bits here and there wont do that much harm. Workout hard, play hard. My own personal diet now consist of white meat; specifically chicken and fish, fruit and veg, alot of meat has fat and red meat is great for building fat that can be turned into muscle mass. I'm not looking to get any bigger and if thats the same for you out there then information here and more to come will benefit you more.

Weight lost will involve alot of cardio so building a diet around cardio building would be best. When i stated intense diets and how its dangerous is extreme diets such as only water during the day monday to friday and then low carb meal on the weekends. Now this mixed with working out during the week is extremely hard n damagering to the build, not many can do this type of training all in one. Many people just do the diet plan becuase they dont have the energy to workout or dont want to workout. Yes you'll lose fat becuase your body is eating it away but soon as you stop that diet you'll put the weight back on extremely fast and thats why deit plans rarely work because soon as you got your body looking the way you want you stop your diet.
Everyone you can have nice balanced diet, a nice teasty meal which is health, workout and maintain this for most of your life. Keeping fitting and looking good is a lifestlye and you can be half assed about it.

When i have time during this week il be posting up routines and helpful tips and training execisers for all that do work for anyone who may be interested ^^ but i hope based on the information here that it incourages ppl to start working-out, workout more or to think about how they workout and how it can be improved. I know in alot of my sections i mention alot about posting more info on cetrain items such as dieting and cooling down techniques which i will.
